BattleTech-Robotech/Macross Lawsuit Review

This is where I list as much as I know on the darkest event of my Battletech life... I miss many 'Mechs that this lawsuit has stripped from the world of Battletech, read on to find out about them and other stuff.

Raw Facts:
This lawsuit, whenever it was, was between FASA Corporation, the very creators of BattleTech, and some company called Harmony Gold, which I assume has some connection to the creators of Macross/Robotech...
Basically what happened was that a guy, I think somewhere in rural, continental America, but definately in America, drew up the designs for some Mecha, then he sold the designs to both companies at roughly the same time (he sold them first to FASA, then later to the Macross people). When the Japanese company found out about FASA having the same designs in their game, they sued, and FASA basically just gave up on the few 'Mechs it would mean letting go of. I dont know about the reaction afterwards, but knowing about some of the particular 'Mechs removed, and hearing the complaints of some other BTech fans, I am certain it made a majorly pissed off BTech community...
Notes before continuing... LAM stands for Land-Air Mech... a 'Mech capable of converting into an Aerospace Fighter... was an obvious infringement on the very basis of Robotech Mecha, and understandable to get rid of... anyway, most LAMs just sucked...
'Mech Listing of all 'Mechs I know have been forcefully and wrongfully eliminated:
MAD series Marauders - possibly the most popular 'Mech ever, without its GM Whirlwind Autocannon, it would look just like the Zentraedi Officer's Battle Pod

SHD series Shadow Hawks - one of my favorite Medium 'Mechs, and a nasty heat-less and varied machine, only refered to as a Misc Mecha in my searches...
*update* Design found to be the star Mecha from a series called Dougram

BLR series BattleMasters - a truly devastating close combat Assault 'Mech, also pretty popular, sighted in Robotech episodes... unknown class, could be a type of Destroid
*update* Is also from Dougram

PHX series Phoenix Hawk - known as a LAM, is the heaviest of such a 'mech... kinda crap really. it looks like the VF-1J and VF-1S

RFL series Rifleman - a very good ballistic and energy based support 'Mech, has an advanced sensor suite mounted ontop of it. its Robotech counterpart has been refered to as the 'Rifleman Destroid' and Raidar X

STG series Stinger - another LAM, a simple 20t scouter... looks like the VF-1A series

WHM series Warhammer - a very good all-around Heavy 'Mech, seen in Robotech, unknown class, possible Destroid

WSP series Wasp - yet another LAM and simple 20t scouter, and quite similar to the Stinger in design. unsure about its Robotech counterpart... might just be because its an LAM...

CRD series Crusader - newly discovered as a conflicting design, a powerful missile-based Heavy 'Mech, as far as I know, its counterpart is refered to as an 'Armored EDF', also Excalibur Destroid

ARC series Archer - also newly discovered conflicting design and powerful missile-based Heavy 'Mech (much like the CPLT, aka Cat), looks like the Guardian Destroid

Goliath Quadruped - This machine is a quadrupedal Battlemech and its design comes from Dougram

This is about all the 'Mechs that I know 'got the axe' from the 'suit... If anyone has any more exact information, don't hesitate to email it or post it in my guest book...
