Game Play
The game play expands from the classic board game. The game will use dice and a traditional map with inter-region links. and territory cards.
The ultimate variation included on the CD RAOM adds new tactics, rebels, terrain effects, prisoners of war that can be exchanged, alliances, larger forces, terrain effects, generals who increase and decrease in skills, fortresses with defense strength and repair, multiple maps, and random events. The artificial intelligence (AI) is pretty agressive, especially in Fast AI mode which increases the speed at which the computer makes decisions. Australia is no longer easily defended. A global view makes it easy to move around on the map. Simply click on the globe in the upper left hand corner and then click on the territory you would like to go to.
