Company LineNews Release For Immediate Release August 20, 1997 PGA Championship Winner Davis Love III Can Begin Ryder Cup Practice On PC The Digital Davis Love III is now available as a Links LS Tour Player, to be joined next week by Access Software’s newest course: 1997 Ryder Cup Site, Valderrama Access Software was already proud of their 1997 lineup of Tour Players and Championship Courses. But Davis Love III had the passionate golf enthusiasts on the Links LS development team beaming with pride Sunday when he conquered the PGA Championship. The Links team has spent hours filming, analyzing and programming the champion’s swing for Davis Love III at Sea Island, the most recent addition to the Links LS Tour Player Series, currently available in stores. Included in Davis Love III at Sea Island is the digitized likeness of Mr. Love, complete with post-shot reactions, voice files, multimedia interviews and his home course at Sea Island Golf Club, Georgia. Now that Davis is also a confirmed member of the American Ryder Cup Team, the timing couldn’t be better for a late August release of Valderrama, host of the 1997 Ryder Cup. "We have taken great care to capture the essence of both Davis Love III and Valderrama," explained Bruce Carver Access Software CEO, "Both on the PC and on the TV, this should prove to be a very exciting Ryder Cup." Access Software has also recently released the 1998 Edition of the most award-winning golf simulation in history: Links LS. Thanks to advancements in the ‘98 Edition, faster screen redraws, expanded modem and network play, water reflections, and other exciting features will add to the realism of the digital golf experience.
