Al Jones has had a full and varied experience as an internationally known entertainer. In the early days, he toured the United States with his brother in a hand balancing act. The act was booked into New York Clubs, Las Vegas, and other venues. The life of a travelling minstrel even took them to Europe.
Al and his brother were booked into the Lido in Paris as headliners and remained there on the bill until Al's brother died. Without a partner, Al changed the act by becoming a stand up comedian. Over the years Al has worked with most of the foremost entertainers of his day, including the luminescent Josephine Baker. Al's list of accomplishments extends to acting, and he is widely known as a consummate professional.
When we were in Las Vegas filming the Consumer Electronics Show, we managed to spend some time with the comedian Sinbad. Al launched into his routine and the well known young jokester was not able to get a joke in between his continuous laughter.
Al has the talent of making people that he knows and works with feel special. We are truely lucky to have Al as a member of The Computer Show team.
